STAND UP and SPEAK UP!

The biggest regret I had early on in my career was not speaking up more.

As an intern early on, I was scared that if I said something wrong, that would be the end of it; there goes my whole career. When in reality, I failed to realize that an intern can be a valuable resource to an organization with ideas and thoughts that are fresh and new and can really make an impact. 

I promised myself after my first internship that I would not be afraid to ask questions or say what I was thinking in meetings or brainstorms. Since then, it has led to amazing opportunities because I was memorable and effective. So SPEAK UP!
